About Make It Count Today

The Spencer C. Duncan Make It Count Project was born out of a life well-lived. Army Specialist Spencer C. Duncan was living his dream of making a difference in this world when he was killed in action on August 6, 2011. Since that time, we have heard numerous stories of people who have taken the Make It Count message and asked themselves what they can do to make each day count in their lives.

Because Spencer felt so passionately about the freedoms we enjoy in this country, he was willing to give his life. It is our desire to honor that spirit of sacrifice and allow Spencer’s life to continue to count for others. We are passionate about giving to our nation’s veterans and their families, and about supporting communities that work alongside veterans. The single greatest resource of this country is the people who live here and believe in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Donations to the Spencer C. Duncan Make It Count Project will go to researched and respected organizations that touch the lives of our veterans. We are excited to announce that we have received our not-for-profit status and have been recognized as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation in the State of Kansas. We are fully committed to financial transparency as we honor and assist our nation’s veterans through your generous support.

Mark your calendars for the 6th Annual Spencer C Duncan Make It Count 5K to be held August 5, 2017!
